Michael Heilemann contacted me with an idea for a plugin, and I ended up writing it yesterday evening.

The plugin simply makes posts older than a certain age private, so you automatically clean up traces of youthful folly from the internet.

Blog Disaster Averted

Through some careless development, and an assumption that I had my database on automated backup, I almost destroyed the database structure for my blog yesterday evening.

Fortunately, I got everything restored with a bit of SQL magic – but if something is weird, please let me know.
