Hi,

Is is possible to move the threaded-comments java internal an external .js file with this version?

Can I just copy it out of the php plugin and into a .js file, and then add a link into my comments page?

Thanks

Yes, that should be entirely possible, and I am going to be separating images, javascript and css into separate files in one of the coming releases.

hi brian. I got these following error when upgrading from 1.5.12 to 1.5.19:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in C:wampwwwwordpresswp-contentthemesmythemenamecomments.php on line 246

I use exactly (copy and paste) all of your new comment template into my comments.php. Can you help me with this, brian?

I was thinking to upgrade but this error make me doubt if I've done a wrong decision… :(

Hello Brian!
Thx for great plugin. I have on my website WP ver. 2.0.5 and plugin in ver. 1.5.7 works OK. I wont upgrade WP to version 2.5.1 and test it on my local. But now plugin has a problem. I was upgrade your plugin to 1.5.20 version and has same problem:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in …1024px-10comments.php on line 246

Hey Brian,

Glad to see you are continuing to work on this great plugin! I know I can't wait for the version that externalizes the *.js script, css and images :D

One note – I have integrated SezWho on my blog and have run into an issue with your plugin no biggie but perhaps that fixe can be moved into plugin options?

Hi Brian … it's really a very very long time to wait for your news on this plug-in—_—...~~~

Anyway, cong!

I made some enhancement and post something in your forum, I am not sure whether you read them. :)

Hope this plugin can be better~

Hi there, o.k i dont know if this is the correct place to ask this question but here goes. When i create a page, the page still has the word 'Posted by' and 'Comment off' how to i hide those two words and make it a plain page. Thanks in advance to all.

any idea why this doesnt work with IE? other people's sites work with this on IE, but mine does not. all of the comments show up blank and the sidebar gets screwed up.

No clue.
Try using DOM Inspector or something similar to see if you can figure it out.

Hi there Brian. Totally in love with this plugin. No real problems so far. This is a great invention. :)

I do have a question though (and yes, the praise was totally legitimate and not a ploy to get you to warm up to me and answer my question):

How do I target="_blank" my commenters. How can I make it when you click on their names it goes to another page all together instead of exiting mine and going to theirs?

I'm a total PHP newb or else I wouldn't bother anyone with this.

Again thank you so much for the plugin!

Brian,

I just found myself in the same situation I was in before where when I wrote a password protected post, the comments did not show up. I had to go into comments.php and change $cookiehash to "cookiehash" to have them show up. Do you think you might make this change in future versions?

Thanks!

Liana

Hello.
Hope somebody could help me…

From a fresh install (files uploaded straight from download, not edited), I cannot set the maximum nesting levels to 1. Anything higher works fine. I get this error though when it is set to 1:

The document structure different from what Threaded Comments expects. You are missing the element 'div-comment—1'.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,
Just installed 1.5.20 today. I copied comments.php to my theme directory.

On the surface, it appears to be working. But when you actually try to post a comment, it doesn't work. Neither replies or new comments. They aren't being added to the database. When you click 'Add Comment' it returns you to the index page for the blog, and the comment is nowhere to be found. And I can't figure out why! I'm running WP 2.5.1.

Thanks!
