I've been toppled in two ways.
First, the google search for "meidell" no longer returns my blog as the first result. I have been number one for as long as I can remember, but now a company that makes machines for working with sheet metal has taken my spot.
Lest anyone is in doubt about my stance on this whole Middle East issue, let me tell you quickly where I am at.
I feel very sorry for the many mild mannered muslims who are being mistaken for belonging to the group of flag burning nutjobs in the press these days. I hope my fellow danes on the receiving end of this petulent hate campaign will remember that not all muslims are raging zealots.
I just got a message on ICQ from a complete stranger along the lines of "Did your paper draw those caricatures? shame on you, you all deserve to die. Muslims will answer to you soon".
Add to this spelling and grammatical errors and exclamation points ad nauseam.
