Jef Raskin Dead

One of the great user interface designers, who worked on the original Macintosh, has passed away from cancer.

Jef Raskin died at age 61.

I have previously recommended Jef Raskins "The Humane Interface" about radically different approaches to user interface design.

People seem to have some misconceived notion that I am anti-mac.
This is very, very wrong. I know quality when I see it. Also, I am one of those style-loving engineers – go figure.

But I do have a problem with zealots, be it fanb01s who throw a party every time Jobbs' scratches his ass, linux people [...]

Moderated Comments Disappear

After I updated to wordpress 1.5, comments that go into the moderation queue don't have any content, making it pointless to approve them.

Anyone else having this problem?

Spam Karma was killing good comments and being a pain in the ass.
Now you are going to be screened by Kittens Spaminator.

Kitten usually does excellent work, so I expect a lot from it.

WordPress 1.5 Migration

I did it.

I migrated to WordPress 1.5.
It was a bit dirty. And there's quite a bit of Kubrick code here. But I'll get to that when hell freezes over.
